Learn How Your Child Will Excel At Lake Travis Christian Academy

The Process

1

Schedule A Tour
Learn more about the school and introduce yourselves to the Lake Travis Christian Academy family through the audition process.

2

Application
Conduct your research and begin your Application.

3

Shadow Day
Once the application is received, your child is invited to visit our school for a day. The shadow day is a great way for us to get to know your child and allow them to experience the environment of Lake Travis Christian Academy.

4

Collaborative Interview
During the shadow day, we invite both parents to come to the studio near the end of the shadow day for an informal discussion/interview.

5

Invitation To Enroll
We will convey a preliminary decision on admission within a week after the shadow day. Admission to our school will be confirmed upon receipt of the enrollment fee, and signed enrollment documents. Ensuring a good fit between each student and family with LTCA is essential. For that reason, admission remains subject to review of student school records, and the discretion of the school based on information obtained prior to the start of school.

Tuition: Your Financial Investment

Tuition for each learner is $1,100/month for 10 months and a $1,000 Enrollment Fee. We offer tuition reduction for qualifying families. We work with each family once the application/interview is complete and find a solution that works for everyone. It is an open discussion where you would go over your budget with your family and then we would discuss the options for what will work best. Our goal is to make this type of learning environment available to all families from all backgrounds that believe LTCA is a good fit and that we believe are a good fit for this learning environment/community.

We believe that students learn best when working with learners younger and older than themselves rather than split up into groups based solely on age. In addition to individualized curriculum, all ages of students work together in groups.

Students celebrate the mastery of tools, skills, and character by earning badges, assembling portfolios, and taking part in public exhibitions. Public exhibitions allow students to present work to experts, customers, or the public for a real-world test. Parents use our online platform JourneyTracker and school app (with permission from their learner) to monitor progress in Core Skills like reading, writing, math, and character development. Electronic and hard copy Portfolios capture rough drafts, photos, videos, and other creative work.

We believe each of our students will find a passion — something they love and have a God given talent to do. They will use this gift to serve others and fulfill a need they are passionate about in the world. This may be by becoming a shoe-shiner who tells stories and makes people’s day just by doing his job with love and vigor; it may be by becoming a coach who sees the light in a child’s eyes and guides her to pursue a dream; it may be by becoming a father or mother who leads a family on a Hero’s Journey; it may be becoming an entrepreneur or business leader guided by compassion and integrity; or it may be by becoming an artist or writer who brings beauty to people’s lives.
